Hi folks, I’m glad to see there’s other INFPs with an interest in religion/spirituality. Perhaps being introverted in the material plane is akin to being extroverted in the spiritual world… maybe the intuitive function is defined so with respect to physical reality, but in fact may be ‘sensing’ in the immaterial realm.

How to bond with other INFPs"I'm not really done with this, just putting it on the back burner. "
How I did it: I have the superglue ready for when another INFP gets in range. Hopefully, there will be some exposed flesh, although in winter, there is never any guarantee of that. Lessons & tips: Be prepared and ever vigilant. Resources: Super Glue...bonds skin instantly. It's "miraculous.":http://www.instablogsimages.com/images/2008/04/13/nonails_3342.jpg

I did an MBTI test with the girls in my scouts group and two of them happen to be INFPs. I was certain that K. would be an INFP, because she reminds me so much of myself when I was younger, but quite surprised that S. also seems to be one. She was also astonished that we’re the same type. Seems like we’re both quite good at pretending to be something else.
It’s strange for me to see how people view K. While I understand her motivation for acting the way she does quite well, most others are somewhat puzzled by her behaviour at times. They don’t quite see how smart and thoughtful she is and seriously have problems dealing with her when she’s adamant over some ethical issue – like not wating to eat at McDonalds. I might have made a similar impression when I was her age, but I was quite uunaware of it at the time.
I suspect I have at least one other INFP friend, because we’re quite in tune with each other – to the point where we finish each other’s sentences and never get on each other’s nerves, which is quite cool and unusual. Also, my mum is an INFP and it may be the reason why we have such a close relationship.
Considering that it’s supposed to be a fairly rare type, I seem to be surrounded by an unusual number of INFPs. Maybe I should focus more on bonding with other types :)

but something tells me that my job is not a good fit for an INFP.
Adar is back.
and I’ll continue to follow it, but I think I’m going to retire it from my list. It’s nice to be reminded about those INFP qualities, because I’m now working as part of a team at a synagogue, and many of my little quirks could be a problem when it is MUCH better for them to be assets.
But as a GOAL… dunno. Anyhow, this has been fun and I may post again in future.
Hawk~ is on vacation! See you all at the end of November!
It occurs to me that there’s a great similarity between an introvert’s club and an anarchist’s club.
:)
not to be confused with a caveman’s club

Let the bonding begin!
now where’d I put that Super Glue?
I need to remind myself what an INFP even is:
“INFPs are introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginitive, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.”

I couldn’t be any more INFP. I’m like the INFP poster-girl. Do INFPs like posting lots of links? I think so. I hope the Robocop guy doesn’t have a problem with that. Hopefully, the Robocop is an INFP too.
Adar is back.
which not only offers people a chance to take the M-B test, but lets you see how your type (in our case, INFP’s) interface with other folks. It’s done in a rather graphic format, which I like better than the wordy kind.
Anyway, if you are on facebook, check it out.
