I had planned “to get out” for a couple of weekends now, but always I didn’t feel too good or simply too tired. And again, this time around I woke with a headache. However after some back and forth I decided to go anyway finally!

So, I started my day by seeing an exhibition at a local museum:

Next I went to the Weihnachtsmarkt:

where I had waffles and these roasted chestnuts:

And once I was home again, it started snowing, which made the cats happy:

I saw Alanis Morissette in concert last week. Such fun. Nice to hear the old tunes and also some exceptional new ones / new interpretations.

And once again, some parts of it put my mind into that special state, that I don’t seem to experience anywhere else. Wonderful how music can do that :) 6 months ago

After doing, what seems, a million things around the house today, I decided to put my achy bones and foggy mind into my hot tub. I’m really glad I fixed those two things, that had prevented me from using it for some time. 11 months ago

My Shampoo changed to a new & improved version. I think it is now unusable.

So today I went ahead and bought three different (new to me) brands and am going to try them all out over the weekend. That actually seems like a fun little project :) 11 months ago

I know I’ve written about it before, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to me. At the very best concerts I get this feeling of utter euphoria. There’s not much like it :) But today I clearly realized, that afterwards I can’t really remember that feeling, I have to be there in the moment and go “Whoa”.

I’m just coming home from a Loreena McKennitt concert and it was just wonderful.

I even did the most fanboyish thing ever and hung around afterwards in case there was a “Meet & Greet”. And I got lucky, there was, with just a few fans being there, so I was actually able to talk a bit with her :)

When I had a queasy stomach yesterday, I decided to try some bread, as that helps sometimes.

So I went to the store and chose a Baguette and was given one that was still warm! I munched on it on the way home already. That was fun and also very soothing :) 15 months ago

There was one play I really wanted to see, while I was in London, but I just could not get a ticket beforehand.

So on the day of show I decided to go to the box office to ask if they had had any returns. No luck.

Well, I didn’t want to give up just yet and went there again 10 minutes before the start of the play and—there was one ticket available now ! And only for £10 even !

It was wonderful :) Made me really happy.

I can’t say I like the current spell of fog. However when I came home this night I was treated to this view of the city’s newest skyskraper in fog, birds and all <g>

I was able to see Tori Amos in concert this week. That’s always such a treat, she seems to give her all in these. I always walk away grinning all over my face :)

This time esp. I thought, that she’s the only artist that has been coming back pretty much consistently for a new album and tour every two years. I find that really special. 19 months ago

The weather has been very difficult for me lately. Lots of dark gray with rain and/or humid.
