I was blessed, on my press trips to Sevierville, TN and to Kawai, Hi, to be able to take helicopter rides. I was in the front, the only passenger in the one in TN, but in Kawai I was in the back.
In both cases we flew over the area. Sevierville was just over the town and the river, but in Kawai it was over the entire island. What an experience that was. I looked down on the whole north coast, over the flat fields of the east and south and over the desert of the west of the island.
I’m so glad I asked the owner of the company for the trip in Kawai, otherwise I wouldn’t have those incredible memories. 5 months ago

It was a beautiful experience doing this over the island of Kauai. However, I thought it would feel more like a roller coaster ride or something – be a bit more thrilling. No butterflies in the stomach just a smooth ride. A great way to see areas of the island that you can’t get to by car. 5 years ago
