Even at this age

..it is not easy letting go of a dear friend. But we seem to have outgrown each other. In fact, every exchange we’ve had lately leaves a lot to be desired. It’s very painful and I wished it did not come down to this. I know he’s extremely busy with whatever that’s going on in his life right now. But no matter how I rationalize this, it still sucks! I’ve told him that his preoccupation with stuff in general does not leave him much time for our friendship. I don’t think I’m asking too much. But I want to finally let this go so that I can stop expecting he’d be there for me, when clearly he is not able to.
