not sure why sometimes entries get posted twice!

A decent tax return is helping to start saving for the next round of property taxes, but if I didn’t have that, I’d be wondering how I could stash away the appropriate amount every month in order to meet that expense.

I really need to set aside a day or two in the near future and hash this out.

miserably at this. I do need to chat with My Man. He is able to afford to do more “small fun” things than I am (dinner out, concerts, etc.). He will sometimes pay for me, but I am not a person who expects The Man to pay for everything, so I often either pay my own way or reciprocate by treating him. He knows how I feel about having him pay for everything. But I think I will need to talk to him about finding ways to have Free Fun, especially with property taxes coming up…and even though I’m only in a townhouse my property taxes are HUGE.

But it will drain you dry.

Tired of having a job that pays only enough to cover the bills, but not enough to do any of the fun things in life that I like to do. Those things seem to cost more than I can afford. SO—time to focus on finances, maybe get creative, and find a way to do more than cover the basics.
