find a part time job

Yesterday I passed by Tim Hortons and there it was… a ‘now hiring’ sign… Huzzah! So I’ve picked up a form and filled it in. I shall turn it in tomorrow. =)

Part time job = more money!

only if my free time after studying allows it without me losing my mind. seems unlikely now, but who knows. if the ebay business goes well and i can be more thrifty, i’ll make it by just fine.

Well, I’ve started my PhD and I’m teaching a couple of classes a semester for a stipend. Oddly enough, I’m bringing in almost as much money per week as my husband!

I got a teaching gig at a local community college for spring term. Its not a lot of money, but it does work out to around 4$25 an hour.

I’m a SAHM right now, so it will need to be something that doesn’t conflict with my husband’s schedule. I thought I’d found the perfect job, then he went and made a commitment on Wednesday nights, so that’s out. I’ll keep looking. We don’t need the money, but it would help me in my financial goals.

Going to try and concentrate on this tonight. NG and I hae been fighting about money. Since he always pays when we go out, he feels like he is supporting me and has been excluding me from trips because of this. I need to find a way to make an extra $1000 a month so I can pay he and RIT off and get some extra cash in my savings account.
I was thinking of something small, like retail, but now I am thinking that I should be able to get a job moonlighting in my field somewhere.

and yet this is what I need. Jeff and I aren’t poor, but honestly I don’t deserve to use his money for my own wants. There are things and courses I desire, and also things I want to buy him. Seems sort of idiotic to say “here sweetie this is a present I bought with your hard earned money!” So the hunt goes on, nobody seems to want me, for the simple fact that I haven’t worked steadily in about 3 years. The very idea of someone being a housewife is beyond the thinking of our society.
I’ll survive.

I downgraded in job status due to the corporate evilness of the world. lol. so i need a part time job to make up for it. I was in the middle of renovating my house (but now I lack the funds and its starting to be a pain in my arse!!), I just want to sell and get a small condo but until then I still need a pt job. Im overqualified for everything is that why they wont hire me?
