Yesterday I took my maths test….. and I passed both sections!!
How to be better at maths
How I did it: My uni ran extra tutorials for those who were struggling before we had to re-take the test. (we got three tries to get 80% in all sections) In those, we basically just asked how to solve the questions and the tutor was really really good. Actually, she reminds me of my first hairdresser a little, so perhaps that helped, lol. Probably the most helpful thing she told us was to read the question and look at your answer: is it logical? And if we don't know the actual math formula, just try something else. I also borrowed a nursing calculations PC program from my mum which had drill practice for fractions, decimals and percentages.
Lessons & tips: Keep trying! It took me 3 tries, but I passed all sections :D

I am really bad at Maths. I have a test Monday week which I have to get 80% for the final two sections left. (Fractions, Decimals & Percentages and Measurement) I have been studying almost every day, although still struggling. If I fail, I risk having to do the entire course again. Help!!
