Watch the NEW season of Project Runway!!!

this Wednesday is a very special episode. I think anyone interested in Fashion and fun should watch. I’m not at all interested in Fashion but the show still captures my imagination….

the most recent episode, and I’m disappointed. It really upsets me to see someone as talented as Kenley be so socially inept that she alienates all the others. And it bothers me anytime I see what looks to me like a bunch of people (also very talented) ganging up on one person. I know that’s not how THEY see it, but it really bothers me, and takes the fun out of watching the show.

I have forgotten to post regarding PR. Project Runway has been inspired this year. The last 2 Episodes were dominated by Leann, who was a designer I rather liked at the beginning.

most of the team Challenge. I saw the ending. But this weeks episode was worht missing Olympic coverage, which has been difficult to follow, with so much focus on beach vlleyball etc…
The contestants made an outfit for a Drag Queen! It was fascinating to me to actually hear the Queens talk about what was important to them in garments, etc. I also enjoyed seeing the queens without makeup…just looking like normal men.
Joe’s design won. It was lovely and perfect for the client. I have pictured it here:

saw it last night, it was really waaay fun. THe designers did an outfit for the female atheletes for the Opening ceremony of the Olympics.
The winner was Korto. I will admit to likeing Joes design better. but…Korto’s was better executed.
Hysterically a few people made cocktail dresses, and Jennifer really missed the mark. i totally agreed with her elimination. It was bizarre that she chose yellow stripes to represent the USA. I mean red white and blue can be trite, but not during the opening ceremonies of the games!

Well, i was shocked by the winner! WHile I like Kenly and have her pegged as one of the finalists at Bryant Park, I really did not like her garmet, the high collar looked odd and I guess i don’t like the 80’s look. I thought either the Open back dress and slacks combo or Leanns dress could have won….but, I am not a judge….
I was glad Emily went home, though it looks as if Keith is going to be next to head out. And Suede, I do wish he could just say I rather than continue in the third person.
I still like Joes designs though he doesnt seem to be attracting more attention.

First episode was last night. It was lovely. They revisited the Grocery Store challenge. It was interesting things that were created. I was really disgusted by the one playboy leotard thing that looked as if the model was wearing a large Maxi, and I am thinking this guy needs elimination soon!!!
I agreed with the winner of the challenge, but I don’t think she will be the eventual winner. I think plastic cup dress guy has a shot….

I dont know how I will stay up for it as I usually go to sleep around 8-9 oclock. But I’m gonna. I can’t wait to “meet” to new designers.
