I am now taking dancing lessons,
Is there anything more girly than taking dancing lessons?

We went to my sister-in-laws home for a holiday party last night and she introduced me to the Pomegranate Martini. It was nice. The kind of drink that is so sweet one cannot taste the alcohol in it. I don’t even know exactly what was in it besides pomegranate juice and vodka, maybe triple sec.
Well, it was so good I had another. Then I realized I could get hammered pretty good on these, so I switched to water. You girls and your drinks. Boy they are tasty, but very powerful. You know how to party.
But, I’ll stick to beer.

Girls love to wear pink, right? So I figure if I get a bright hi-vis pink bike jersey this would count as another girly thing.
Unfortunately, there are no men size hi-vis pink jerseys to be found any where. There are a lot for ladies, but I don’t think they would fit quite right. (Just because I want to do girly things doesn’t mean I’m shaped like one.)
I did find one that will have to do. And I do think I look rather stunning in it.

A couple weeks ago, when we were away for vacation, I was planning to dress as a girl for our annual theme party. Unfortunatly, a freind who was to lend me a blonde wig, forgot the wig and my neice who was to lend me a tube top, forgot the top.
Bummer, how am to complete this goal if i cannot depend on people? Next time i bring my own wig and top.
I wonder if would have been pretty?

This idea came to me in the shower this morning as I realized, once I was soaking wet, there was no men’s soap in here. So I picked up my son’s girlfriend’s Blue Ocean Shower Gel to use, figuring it was better than getting the whole upstairs soaked by going to the closet to get real soap. Heck, it’s soap, plus “it has bubbles and leaves your skin noticably soft”.
So, I squeerted some on the orange scrunchy thing that was hanging in the shower and preceeded to soap my self up. And you know, it felt nice. Really nice. And my skin was noticably softer.
So now I’m thinking some more, as the scent of the Blue Ocean Shower gel fills my nostrils, that you girls really have nice things and do nice things. Things that guys would never think of doing. Sure, guys talk about great stuff like football, cars, power tools and lawn tractors, but all you women, well, you talk about your feelings and what makes you feel both good and bad. You do little things for yourself and others that make people appreciate you. Little things, Simple things.
I think I need to do that. Or maybe there was something in that Blue Ocean Shower Gel other than scented soap that went up my nose. Who knows, maybe I’ll take a bubble bath next or get my toe nails painted.
