learn how to parallel-park

when i first learned to drive, this was the only way i felt comfortable parking. But then i didn’t do it for a long time and i forgot the trick to it and couldn’t do it at all! I finally remembered:

1- line up your car with the car in front of the space

2- turn your wheel all the way to the right (in the states) and reverse until the passenger side mirror is in line with the back left corner of the car in front of the space

3- at this point turn your wheel all the way in the other direction and continue backing into the space

4- straighten out your car

!!!!!

Any now I take pride in a good parking job :D

...though I thin it’s true that everybody feels that they are an above average driver. I’m no different.

This is how I first learnt to park so I find it the easiest way.

Parallel parking is a great skill to have…

But now I will even attempt it when people are watching!

I did it without my mom kibitzing and she said, “if you do it like that, you’ll pass the test the first time!”
