hi. im a preteen i dont wear makeup only sometimes. i think im fat and ugly. everyone says im pretty and skinny. but i dnt feel that way. i have a boyfriend but i want to brakeup with him becuz he can do so much better then me. he needs a preety and skinny girl. girls are all over him all the time and i want him to be happy wit them. becuz i knw he cant be happy wit someone like me. i starve myself so i can lose weight and i excirse but its like nothing helps me. WHY AM I SOO UGLY AND FAT? how can i feel better about myself? 3 years ago

I stopped wearing make up every day when my chemical sensitivity became more problematic. I usually only wore mascara and blush, but the mascara was what was bugging me. Been several years now, and I don’t miss make up at all. :) 3 years ago

I feel good without makeup usually. But I have found that as long as you are just touching up your natural beauty, like a little eyeliner or a little lipgloss, this is OKAY…....... 4 years ago

Your teeth dont have 2 be perfect all you have to do is flash a smile people will think you are sweet and kind which aoutomaticly makes you seem pretty. just try it. you never no! 4 years ago

In the world of military you would think makeup and looking pretty isn’t a priority. In fact I think it’s alot worse now that I’m in the military! I’m in a dept. where there are alot of naturally beautiful woman in their late 20’s whose skin is clear, I just turned 19 and still in the middle of battiling my skin! So it’s hard not to put on make up in the morning! I mean I would LOVE to go without makeup since it’s hard to keep up with it through out the day, but with my skin being oily and VERY sensitive (I can’t even use cliniques 3 step program, neutrogena, clearsil, etc.)and being uneven it’s impossible!! ::hits head on desk:: 5 years ago

i have to have colored lens! i dye my hair! i get tans! i wear eyeliner lipstick bronzer eyeshadow! yes i take care of my skin i ha ve to straightnen my hair i wish i was naturally beautiful like those chicks that get wet in the desserted islands oh well thank god for science! 6 years ago

I used to be one of those girls who couldn’t leave the house without make-up… But one day I forgot to buy a new foundation and I had to do it… Everyone started commenting on how beautiful I looked without the porcelain skin… And that simple thing started a great confidence and self-esteem boost! And people noticed that!

Now I never wear make-up and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. 6 years ago

i think that young girls (including myself) wear makeup because they don’t feel confident about theirself. I think partly this has to do with the way society thinks of beauty/ the way they portray what the word beauty means…. having a clear face with no marks or bumps.. being thin.. all this is the way society portrays beauty but in reality beauty is not at all that. Beauty shines from within – a person can look gorgeous on the outside but in the inside they can be the UGLIEST. So to me i think the start to not wearing makeup and just being natural starts with having confidence and ignoring what society thinks beauty is. If u have a clean heart and good morals about yourself then u have that beauty that shines from within meaning you are BEAUTIFUL! 6 years ago

make up doesn’t make you beautiful. it’s just a mask people wear when they’re trying to hide something they’re not comfortable with. it’s bad for your skin, it smells funny, and it detracts from natural beauty which is so much more beautiful anyway. 7 years ago
