I drink hot tea year round (the Belorussian in me makes it so). But it’s extra marvelous in the winter. I think I’m going to be drinking a lot of new teas this no sugar month, which gives me one reason to appreciate the cold weather. I stashed some tea bags in my desk at the office, and am pretty well stocked at home. I’m currently enjoying a cup (bowl, more like it) of Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer.
I’m trying to mellow out and start studying for my differential equations exam. Hot tea + Cocteau Twins…
If you have any any tea suggestions, I insist you share!

Even though I feel like I’ve completed it only 80%. It’s the best I can do with avoiding sugar.. But for the past month, I haven’t touched any ice creams, just some random cheat days with a cook or two..

and failed again when i was in phuket. After swimming for 3 hours both at the beach and at the pool, on the way back to our room we stopped to eat a chocolate cookies provided by the hotel. It was very yummy and we were very hungry. And on the way out of the hotel, we stopped to have one more for each of us.. oh..joy!
..i need to get back home to start this goal again..

I made milk loaf bread today! It was my first time using a bread maker (my in-laws gave me theirs this weekend), and it was very easy and successful. That’s encouraging, because I’ve been interested in making my own bread rather than buying from the store. Hopefully, the boy will like it. For someone who hypothetically wants me to cook more, he’s not guaranteed to eat things I make. Good things. Really. o
As for the goal at hand, I’m not giving up all forms of sugar. Honey in my tea is groovy, as is wine. But no sugar for sugar’s sake (candy, pastries). Now would be a great time for a bazillion reasons.
