Appreciate achievements (rather than muse on missed chances)

all the feedbacks for a party.

in an evening of sustained intimacy. Could have withdrawn when felt insecure. Could have made excuses to stop. Instead, kept listening to myself and encouraged myself to go for what I really wanted to share.

Now I’m sitting down to do real work and intend to stay focused on this goal for the next 3 hours.

idea of all the piles to be sorted. That’s a start.

...with my new special friend over lattes and almond croissants this morning. We only had a few minutes, so we got it to go and spent a luxurious 10 minutes sitting and sipping and savoring our time together .. then zipped off to our respective work environs.

a folder on one of my school subjects so that I can pass it over to a colleague.

that an interview hasn’t gone too well.
Yet, I was also informed that here are no doubts as to my general ability for the job I applied for. I just might need some consulting before.
Which I will gladly take.

a promotion – long-awaited – and said with all modesty possible- long-deserved.

half of the house-painting is done.(My wife did the most.)

several events this weekend – met a lot of interesting new people and a lot of acquaintances, went to a great school concert with my daughter as one of the members of a very remarkable orchestra, my son joining us and him sorting out the challenges at his new school, and my wife happy about our deep-rooted understanding.

a lovely saturday night out – very enjoyable.
