buy a hookah

When I bought my first one (Thats the one in the picture), I opted for the smaller kind, thinking I was prolly not going to be using it much. Boooy, was I wrong. lol. I’ve found that it best to always invest in a bigger one, seeing how those seem to work better for the shiisha smoking! After having bought one, somehow its opened a new way of socializing, as my buddies and I have the deepest most chill conversations while puffing away! lol.

I was on LSD in Harvard Square with friends and we came upon Leavitt and Pierce (sic?)- its the smoke shop thats been there for over one hundred years, probably closer to two hundred (which is pretty badass for a small, independent business)- anyway, we went in and I bought an enormous purple hookah for $130. Yay! She’s purple (and definitely female). My friend has dubbed her Ophelia. I love smoking shisha too, but the first and only time I tried it before purchasing Ophelia I got mono from a dirty hose tip! So I recommend getting your own, obviously. It’s a nice social piece, I must say.

I have no money and my entire goal this summer is to save. But if I buy one thing it is going to be a hookah. I love hookah—especially with tea and a good friend for conversation. I’m definately buying one this week!

I first tried hookah my first semester in college… a year later I own three. Quite amazing. Relaxing. And worth not going to hookah bars to pay for a bowl what you could buy a small hookah for.

I own 16 hookahs for myself. I love it! I get to choose which one i want everyday. I guess im a true Arab. lol. I seriously smoke hookah almost everyday. People say its bad but nobody has actually died from hookah or gotten ill from it. But hey if your freaked out from the .5% nicotine in the whole box it comes in you can check out the tobacco-less shisha. It’s a bit more spendy like $14 bucks more spendy but hey its worth it, i guess! oh yeah its made from herbs instead of tobacco that smoke the same way. I like my .5% nicotine personally i think its a lot smoother.

I’m going to Israel for March Break, I really want to get one while I’m there.
