Make a difference in the 2006 elections.

Pretty much what Scottie said. I can’t even fathom how people can rationalize some of the decisions that Bush and Company make on our behalf on a weekly (dare I say daily) basis. It amazes me that more people aren’t ticked off about what’s going on, and it amazes me further that people are actually supporting their actions.

Thankfully, they’ve been catching a lot more flak on the Iraq front as of lately, but that’s only due to the sacrifice of thousands of innocent lives. :/

We as the American people have to stand up for ourselves, and we definitely can’t wait for someone else to do it for us.

I hate bringing politics to sites like this, some of my best friends are republicans and it becomes a sore point sometimes, but one really needs to sit up and take a stand for what they believe in regardless of what that is.

Watching the United States go further and further daily into the cosmic toilet, I sometimes think to myself that it’s truly a shame but I did what I could in 2004. I talked to my friends, I posted my thoughts, I debated and donated, and when it came time I got out and made my vote count. It wasn’t enough.

I’m determined to do better in 2006.
