Now I am working on a basic cable hat out of the Stitch n Bitch Nation book. I have only had to frog it twice…I keep loosing my place after I put it down for a couple of days.

One done! And I know definitely that I will not be giving it to who it was intended for! Now I am working on a cable hat in a navy malibrigo and a wash cloth out of cotton.
Mom dug out a scarf project that I had started probably over two and half years ago. That will be UFO #1! Not sure if I will give it to the person that it was intended for. You know…”The boyfriend sweater curse”. Well there is also, one for scarfs! It’s a good thing I picked out colors that I liked!

I don’t know why I can’t seem to make enough time for this. I get close to the end and I just let everything trail off.
I want to add to my list of projects some stash-busting efforts at hats, scarves and mittens for my friends’ kids. Perhaps I should focus on those and put away the projects for me until later.

So I finally finished the colorful afghan I’ve been working on for a couple months now. I hope my fav aunt R loves it when she gets it for Christmas.

I finished bib #2 and it looks better than bib #1. I have started the baby blanket and am using stockinette stitch, which I have never used before. I have done seed stitch and garter but I must say, stockinette stitch rules!!
JaneKnits working hard...
Woo Hoo! I finally finished the Festive Fish Afghan this past weekend! I’ve gotten a lot of compliments—and I will post a photo after this coming weekend. It is nice to finally complete something, especially a project that had been languishing in the UFO basket for way too long (over 8 years!).
On to the next UFO – my Nova Scotia sweater from AS’s Fisherman’s Sweaters – another project that has been on needles for so long, one probably thinks they are part of the pattern! :-)
