experience reiki

Done it! I’ve bought a book on it now and am considering getting attuned. It’s defo worthwhile trying, even if you don’t want to take it further I think most people will get something from it.

I experienced Reiki a couple of months back and the lady who practiced it on me was a spiritual reiki healer. We both seen similar images when we were going through the chakras. It was amazing. Worthwhile doing!

So at the behest of my brain doctor, I went to a healing touch nurse today and was reiki’d to death. I don’t if it had a placebo effect or what, but I do feel a little better. Which is saying a lot considering how much of a skeptic I am.

I am friends with a professional Reiki (and healing touch) healer, and she has given me some amazing energy adjustments. The experience was utterly mindblowing. Several times, healing/happy tears poured quietly out of the corners of my eyes. Other times, I saw fields of color and light. Best of all, though, I felt surrounded by a really good love energy during the therapy and for hours afterwards. It sounds crazy! But if you’re open to the experience, it will probably be beautifully, profoundly worthwhile.

But I’d be willing to give it another try.

So I never called that person, but I did find someone else I trust who’s a Reiki Master that’s willing to do a session for me in a month or two.

Finally got the name of a Reiki person in my area. She charges $40 / hour, which sounds okay. I’m planning on calling her and setting up a session for next week.

Today in the morning I had my first reiki session. It was really relaxing and I could feel some warmth in those areas of my body (my neck, back and stomach) where I felt tense or a “knot”. I´m having another session next week and I’m really looking forward to it.

I had it done at a party a few days ago, but I want to have it done in a more neutral atmosphere where I can fully evaluate the experience. (The feeling after the first time was wonderful, though.)

A friend did reiki on me a few months ago. I didnt really get the warmth and tingles some people experience, but 5 minutes before it i felt really grim with a very sore throat and cold etc. and afterwards i felt great!
