Learn Mathematics Module: Statistics 1

My first free week since finishing school for the summer, so I’m getting on the case over the coming week!

Hopefully it’s not too tricky!

Out of the seven chapters, I’ve already completed two, so I’m doing quite well really.

I’m almost motivated to work harder because I want to show people that I can learn something myself and achieve! I think over the summer, when I have not a lot on, I’ll get out the text book and power on.

Full steam ahead!

As I approach my A2’s I get a few choices in my A Level Mathematics.

This year, we had to study the module Mechanics 1 (M1), and by following through to A2 the norm is to continue onto Mechanics 2 (M2)... however, due to the way degree’s are changing, Statistics 1 (S1) is becoming more and more useful, so I’ve grabbed the opportunity with both hands and will do S1 instead of M2.

The only down side, is I have to learn the majority myself, which seems a little daunting… but I believe I can put the time in and succeed. What’s even better, is Universities are becoming more and more eager to see evidence of independent learning; this is going to put me heads and shoulders above the rest (assuming I pull it off!)

I’m looking forward to it, I guess anything is better than doing more Mechanics… don’t even get me started on the topic.
