Do I even know how to tell stories? If the stories I tell bore people, is it the content, or am I telling them poorly? Both?
I believe Web 2.0 tools can help us pull together and coalesce into new forms of community. I want to help people build learning communities, and community grows from common stories on some level. Alan Levine shares 50 tools for Web 2.0 storytelling but his opening page warned me: Do you have a story? That’s when I realized I don’t yet. So maybe this place will become someplace I can come back and practice.
I think I’ve got the skill okay, I just need to accumulate a collection of stories to keep in my mental archives.
