at the Norwich Inn was great. Not only was I able to drink great beer, but I had the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten. And afterwards I was able to walk out of the Inn with a bottle of Whistling Pig Red Ale that is only available at the Inn.
I think I’m going back this weekend. Why not…325 Main Street

Their IPA is nearly the best I’ve ever had. It’s IBU (international bitterness units) is 64 which is exactly what I’m looking for in an IPA.
However, this pub assumes a tip. There’s nothing about gratuity in the menu and the waitress assumed that I didn’t want change back. Don’t get me wrong, I planned on leaving a tip if the service and the food/beverages are good, but it shouldn’t be assumed. Thumbs down for that.14 Lakeshore Drive

Definitely a first class brewpub – no question there. I enjoyed an excellent BLT and a couple of their finest brews.
It was really a cozy place, with Olympic memorabilia and a rustic framework. And it’s Lake Placid…34 Main Street

in Burlington I’d like to hit today. Don’t know if it’s gonna happen, though. I’d like to drag my girl along. I’ll coax her into going by saying we’ll stop at Barnes & Noble on the way back. :)
