be an actuary

I worked a temporary job and learned about what actuaries are and what they do and how much they get paid. I have been bouncing around in my life from career to career without any firm goals. I took the path of least resistance and did not work hard for what I want out of life. I know I can do this job. At one time I was an engineering major and I made it through Calculus III with an A. I got to Statics and Thermodynamics and I quit because it was too hard. In reality I just didn’t want to do the work. I know I can do the math. I know I can discipline my life so that I will be able to study. I want a different life than the one I have been living. I am hungry. I want this. I will be taking Exam P in November.

Planning to clear mba this year… lets c what happened…

DISCIPLINE, a simple word but difficult to do. Before becoming an actuary, you must be disciplined first (and this will add to my goals list). Even on simple things like waking and preapre early in the morning so as not to be late in class or work. Its difficult to do that especially that i am a sleepyhead. But, well, gonna have to start now!

Study hard.
