Doing very well at this 16 months ago

I’ve decided to mark this as complete since I automatically tend to do this right now. I like variety in my meals so I do it naturally without thinking.

I'm actually succeeding at this finally! 19 months ago

With the stress of end of term assignments and exams, cooking has been a huge stress reliever.
Recently I’ve made:

- Palak Paneer with home-made naan (Yum!)
- fried leeks
- asparagus with butter-pecan sauce (well.. I helped with this one)
- a new carrot cake
- vegetable pie (for Pi day—this turned out so good!)
- fried rice and veggies
- bread (I’ve never made my own before)

I have a new book I am trying recipes from..It’s something like the Cleanse cook book. Plenty of smoothie and soup recipes…I think I may try something this week.

Mmmmm....yummie. 21 months ago

So i made Moroccan Chicken Stew last night with couscous. I must say…it turned out so good! Although i did change the ingrediants a little. It called for boneless skinless chicken thighs, i used breasts. It also called for raisins, which i left out because i don’t care for fruit or sweet things in with regular food. :(
But it turned out fabulous….my boyfriend came over for dinner and also enjoyed it. So on to the next recipe….Hmmmm…what shall i make? I have a few ideas….TBA

I am trying my best to experiemnt, but the baby having a cold is limiting my trips to the farmer’s market, etc. Hopefully next week things will be better.

OHHHHHHHH! I almost forgot! Anyone in the Temecula area has to visit The Temecula Valley Cheese Company in Old Town Temecula!!I am in love with their Stilton w/Cranberries!!! The Tete De Moine is delicious! It can be pricey, but they offer a $10 bag of mixed cheeses that we enjoyed. We went looking for Montgomery Cheddar which we had tried in Edinburgh. We found it and have since had it on everything!!!
