I read, like, 10 pages this morning! Whoohoo!

This isn’t working out so well. I planned to read a BOOK 30 minutes a day, and now, if I do read, it’s fanfiction. What a loser, huh? I’m keeping up with homework, but to be honest, there’s not THAT much of it, and I really should spend some quality time with P&P. I want to finally finish it.

I think that if I do this, I won’t lose interest in whatever I’m reading, AND I will be able to get through more books, faster. I believe that half an hour is a reasonable amount of time per day for a college student with a p/t job to devote to reading. And no reading for class—that will not count.
Really I do read 30 minutes a day, but that’s in school books. I’ve tried reading others books and really, it just seems not to work. So I’ve set a smaller goeal that I hope will work!
I read a lot, but it’s always for school. I want to read a lot more books that I want to read and books I will get something out of. I think I’m aiming for 2 books a month.
I did this for a good eight months until i bought a computer and then stopped completly when i got broadband …. Oh well.
Well… I picked the book. I just didn’t have time to read any of it.
At least I’m making progress…?
Didn’t read anything that wasn’t online.
I guess it would help if I…oh… I don’t know… maybe picked a book to read?!?
I’ll do that today. Pick one of the 562,738,405,491,786 books I have here and set it aside to read every day.
I love to read. I used to read a lot. I don’t so much anymore. I keep seeing 52 books in 52 weeks goals and can’t see it happening for me. Yeah, I suppose I could read an entire book in a week… if I do nothing but sit on my butt and neglect a lot of other activities. That just doesn’t work for me. Besides not reading as quickly as I once did, I tend to pick things that require my brain to work… and that’s a function that’s rather rusty too. I think I can manage 30 minutes a day.
