make a living as a photographer

I’ve always been interested in all aspects of photography. I never knew how strongly I felt about it until this year. Although I don’t have all the necessary equipment, I would like to be able to show off my talent to others and get their constructive criticism. I will be purchasing a digital slr in the next coming months, and will that camera will be my bible. Learning everything there is to know about it, and taking some awesome pictures.

I’ve done this, but not doing the photography I really wanted to be doing. I had too many “bread and butter” jobs. I guess I was just paying my dues, but I am taking a break from it now. I start a 4 day per week no-brainer job in a month, and I am going to just do the kind of photography, and artwork/sculpture I want to be doing. I won’t have to worry about getting whatever photo job I can to pay the bills. Then I won’t be burnt out on being creative in a direction that doesn’t make me feel proud about what I am doing.
