hello all;
what is a reasonable amount of time for me to set this goal? i am trying to change the way i spend. flipping over a new leaf! :D i put $50 in savings today – im really excited and think i should be able to change things for myself.
what are typical penalties if you spend your savings etc?
thanks for the help

Because I had to buy a new car :[. My car unexpectedly died. rip. :[ so, i will have to have a sad face about not completing it on time, but i’m not going to punish myself for something i had no control of. Hopefully I can get this done by the end of September.

I had to take out $86 for an insurance payment, and so far I’ve only been able to add back $100. Basically, right now, I’m up $14 from where I started. [the grand total right now is $1040 something]
BUT, I just switched insurance companies so I should be getting a refund for that $86. AND I worked out how I could save $300 next month, so I should have that money as well. We will see if I get this challenge done.

this is a lot harder than it sounds. i’m 2/3 of the way there, but i’m not sure that i’ll ever get there, haha. I’ll have a full-time job this summer, so hopefully I’ll be able to save some money.

I just got finished with the save $1000 goal. I was going to move on to save $2000, but I thought $1500 was a more feasible goal. I want to save a good chunk of money while I’m in college so I can have enough money to live on my own while paying off my student loans.
