but all of them are in the time that doesn’t goes together with my schedule… so I’ve bought a DVD and try to dance at home. (so far I did it once :)

When I was looking for local art classes, I stumbled upon a listing for a belly dance class at my local community center – SCORE! I signed up for an eight-week session, but if I like it as much as I enjoyed the first class, I intend to keep going after the eight weeks. So far, I really like the instructor (and the music she plays – Amr Diab, who ROCKS). And, I’m having fun moving my body. My right hip isn’t as cooperative as my left, but that’s what practice is for. If I knew how to do this already, I wouldn’t need classes, right?

Next action: Research local belly dance classes. I did this a few weeks ago (and I thought I e-mailed one instructor), but never followed through. I think I’ll add this to Someday/Maybe, as it’s not a high priority right now. I’d rather get back into doing yoga first. Although maybe this would be a fun way to kickstart an exercise program (and once I’m feeling a bit more stamina, I won’t be as nervous about going back to yoga).
