How I did it: I got braces!A huge down payment and insurance and monthly payments. So worth it tho! I have to write atleast 150 characters, but it is very simple. I got braces. My general dentist referred me to ortho and now I am months away from having them removed. I have gained an amazing confidence, that may be superficial, but I cannot see it as any other way than : Smiling more make you happy! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just said "That's it, I'm finding a dentist and I'm starting as soon as possible, no more delay" All I had to spent, was the 1/6 of my monthly salary and only for 2 months :)I changed my old black fillings with new porcelain ones that remain white even after many years. I used to think that dental floss is so boring and it takes time but when I tried it I got addicted. It gives you so much more clean feeling than just brushing your teeth. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Found an amazing dentist. Scrimped and saved to pay for it all. Did the work and spent the time in the chair. My teeth look so fantastic now that I am in the process of getting invisaline and whitening. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I finally decided to go get a consultation because it was free. When I got there, because I had little "Madonna's" top and bottom there was no surprise when he told me I needed them. What was a surprise was that he had time right then, so I went for a consultation and walked out with braces. My husband was very surprised. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well, I got tired of hiding my mouth when I smiled or laughed, so I finally got the guts to call a dental surgeon and go to my regular dentist. My regular dentist took care of any cavities that were present, then the dental surgeon pulled a badly decayed tooth and screwed in 7 mini-dental implants in all the holes of my upper jaw. Went back to my regular dentist for one more checkup and an in-office Zoom whitening before the s… Read how I did it…

I think it’s an implant that I need
Who does them and how much are they?
Ugly, big and misaligned yet perfectly healthy teeth are my biggest beauty peeve. I need to ask my dentist for an estimate of the costs to make my smile pretty – I believe the solution is porcelain veneers and/or crowns, then decide when I’m going to have them done.

I put $5k into a flexible spending account this year; knowing I’d need it for the dental work, eyeglasses & routine healthcare stuff.
I need to figure out how much is left, and see about scheduling any final dental work for the year.

I went to mexico last week and got all my front teeth crowned…I get the temporary crowns off tommorrow and the permanant ones put on. I can actually smile without being all worried and embarrassed now, and it only cost 1,500 dollars…it’ll be like 2,500 when it’s all finished. I am soooo happy! Thank god for Mexican dentists. lol.
A little over 3 years and 1 surgery later, my braces are off! Unfortunately, even with retainers, I can feel my jaw and teeth shifting. Here’s hoping it’s nothing too serious.

I can get crowns for like 220 bux in mexico…and that’s at an upscale place. I can get it for like 75 bux at a crappy place but I don’t want to risk that. I should have my grill fixed up within the next 3 months max.

Well, I have one less wisdom tooth to worry about. I only have one left and I promised myself that I would have it removed somtime after the new year. I just can’t afford it right now. After that I have some cavities to get filled and then maybe I’ll think about whitening them or getting Invisaline. I’m not too worried about the cosmetic stuff just yet. Got to get all the problems fixed first.

I had to go to the dentist today because my right upper wisdom tooth was hurting really bad. They could not pull it because the root is curved around my other teeth, so now I have to go to an oral surgeon. I have a consultation tomorrow morning. It’s going to be expensive, but maybe I’ll finally get this taken care of. I can’t live with the pain thta this is causing now.
