tour the White House

If I plan on being First Lady some day, I better check it out, right? Just kidding.

I just want to see it. Look at all the antiques. It’s just something I think I should do.

This would just be really cool. Maybe Matt and I will head to Washington one day.

I had a friend that was one of the President’s 6 official photographers. He arranged to get us into the White House and took us on a private tour. (This was pre-9/11) It was actually pretty awesome. We were there a while and I even got to stand at the President’s podium in the press room and pretend I was the President! (Goofy, I know, but fun!) Also, they were having a party the night we were there and I bumped into Sandy Duncan in the hallway! It was especially cool to go wander the grounds and see all the people looking through the bars at us from across the lawn, trying to figure out who we were!
