How to read the Bible daily
It made me
 "I love reading the bible, get something differnt out of it each time."
How I did it: just do it, you know that bible you have just sitting there collecting dust? pick it up and read. it is the best book ever. I love learning more and more about Jesus. Lessons & tips: The bible is clear that God conisders 40 days a spiritually significant time period. Whenever God wants to perpare someone for his purpose,he took 40 days: Resources: Bible,praying,commitment.

How I did it: I promised myself, and God, that I would read the Bible daily. I reminded myself daily that if TV, computer work, going out, etc., were important enough for me to find the energy to do, how much more important it was for me to stay in touch with my Heavenly Father and Honour Him. How I did it: I picked up the Bible one day, sat down, and started reading it. Every time I became distracted or my thoughts wondered I would stop and pray, asking God to help me stay focused and read it. I decided I would read a chapter a day, which is what I've stuck with. I read the Bible first thing in the morning, because it's so important that it should be put first anyway. But, also because that way I'm not just putting it off throughout the day… Read how I did it…

Okay, so I found this link http://www.wholesomewords.org/family/bibleread/truth.pdf which will lead you right to a bible study plan that’ll get you through both the old and new testament in one year. Yeah, that’s what’ll try to do. Now I just have to discipline myself to read every night before bed.

There are many ways to get close to God but one way that I expect to excel is through reading the Bible. I want to read the Bible daily. It is not a hard task but it is one that one must be determined to do. It is posible to succeed at this and it will be conqured.
If one knows the word they will be among the knowing and they have the chance to be in a better place.

Jesus Is the True Vine
Jesus said to his disciples:
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts away every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit. But he trims clean every branch that does produce fruit, so that it will produce even more fruit. You are already clean because of what I have said to you.
Stay joined to me, and I will stay joined to you. Just as a branch cannot produce fruit unless it stays joined to the vine, you cannot produce fruit unless you stay joined to me. I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me. If you don’t stay joined to me, you will be thrown away. You will be like dry branches that are gathered up and burned in a fire.
Stay joined to me and let my teachings become part of you. Then you can pray for whatever you want, and your prayer will be answered. When you become fruitful disciples of mine, my Father will be honored. I have loved you, just as my Father has loved me. So remain faithful to my love for you. If you obey me, I will keep loving you, just as my Father keeps loving me, because I have obeyed him.
I have told you this to make you as completely happy as I am. Now I tell you to love each other, as I have loved you. The greatest way to show love for friends is to die for them. And you are my friends, if you obey me. Servants don’t know what their master is doing, and so I don’t speak to you as my servants. To Spend Quality Time With God Daily

Who else is more important in my life but the Creator of me? If I have time for computers, TV, volunteering, crafts, hobbies, talking on the phones etc., then surely I have time to spend with God in His Word and in prayer. I want to read at least one devotion in at least one of my devotional Bibles every day and to write in my daily journal as my way of prayer, and letting God know how my day went, even though He already knows. He likes to know that I know I need Him.
