"Now I can publish all my photos, organized and anyone in the world can see them!"
How I did it: Well, when my account on flickr reached the limited 200 hundred photos for the "normal" users I thought about buying a pro account, but I didn't have the money at the time. So, I continued taking photos anywhere I went and saved them in my computer.
By August I started receiving a scolarship as a researcher in universtity. So, the pro account was one of the first things I bought with my first money! It only took 5 minutes to make the deal at the site and I got a special three months addition for free! I was lucky there was a promotion!
Lessons & tips: I think that if you like great photography and want to organize your material in a website, flickr is perfect. I've tried DeviantArt, but I thought it was more for drawers and illustrators. I don't see many photographers there.
Also, I advise you not to buy the pro account as soon as you begin. It's more rational to understand the site, make contacts, join groups and make some friends there. So you will be recognized soon.
