i want to lose 15 pounds in a month and two weeks. that means no junk food and excersice. i really have to. im not fat, just overweight. i want to fot size three skinny jeans again.

As of today my current weight is 148.2 pounds, which means i am over weight and some pounds need to come off. I have given myself 2 months to lose 16 pounds.

I know this is achievable because last year i was abou 168 pounds and i managed to drop off all that weight.

Not only do i need to lose weight but most importantly i need to tone everything, my bum, hips and thighs. Which i guess is the most difficult part. It is sooo hard, but i guess i have to find the best way i can tone up. For know i shall stick to my 3km run and my weights.

Well it’s been a few weeks since I’ve last wrote & updated my progress/degress but for the past two weeks it hasn’t been good. Week before last I had lost 5 lbs. (total of 9 lbs.)& was doing great…eating my fruit, salad, bake or grilled meats & watching my calorie intake. Everything was going great, then last week I started craving chocalate (brownie) & I resisted for two whole days. Well, by the third day I couldn’t take it anymore & had to have that brownie. After the brownie I was down hill. I had a desire for all the foods I had given up & total lost focus of my goal. And this week I couldn’t get started b/c I was stressed & very busy. And out of all of that I ended up gaining back 4.8 lbs. My problem has always been consistency. I always start off doing great & after losing a few pounds I end up falling off. I plan on starting back on Monday before I end up gaining all 9 lbs. back plus more.

I feel great 8 months ago

I’ve been consistent this week w/my workouts. Most of them have been short workouts but they were intense. Yesterday I walked 1.5 miles around the track & then went home to work on toning. I was able to do 40 crunches, which is remarkable for me b/c just last week I don’t think I was able to do 20. I also pushed myself to doing 35 squats, 20 oblique crunches (not including the 40 reg. crunches), 20 bicep curls & only 5 lunges. I pushed myself into doing them all by continously telling myself that, “I can do it & I don’t want to continue holding onto all this fat & flab. That I want to get into that size 12 & be toned & fit”. So with this in mind I pushed myself w/each exercise until it began to hurt. So tonite I think I’ll push myself to add 5 more to each exercise or better yet do my Biggest Loser Boot Camp workout & then step into my personal thing. One day I want to be able to do at least an hour of cardio & 45 min of intense circuit training. I can do it! I’m just so proud of myself.

Well, I have to pat myself on the back b/c I’m down 2.4 lbs. which is a good considering I really didn’t exercise or eat as I should have. Now this week I’ve been doing good w/both, exercising & eating. Today i brought my gym clothes w/me to work b/c when I leave here I’m going straight to the gym to take this spinning class…hope I can make it all the way through. I hope to have lost at least 5 lbs. by next week when I go to weigh-in at work. Losing 5 lbs. would be such a motivation for me b/c I’m working hard to hit that 5 lb. mark or more. I know it’s possible…I’ve done it before.

Need motivation 8 months ago

Well, here it is almost a week later since my last entry & nothing has changed. I’m still only working out on Mondays & Wednesdays…did nothing this weekend but clean my house (top-to-bottom & even the carpet). Now today is Tuesday & I wonder will I have the will power to at least do a 30 minute workout video or walk when I get off. It’s going to be a very nice day, around mid-70’s & would be a great day for an outdoors walk if I can handle the heavy pour of pollen.

I have decided to start keeping a journal of the foods I eat everyday & start back w/my Weight Watchers point system…I think this will help. With Weight Watchers this will at least help me not to go over board w/what I eat each day. One things for sure that I know will help is that I don’t drink beer anymore & made that my New Years resolution. Now I did fall short a couple of times but not in about a month or more. I had to ask God for his help w/that & every since then I haven’t even had the desire. A lot of things have changed since I’ve decided to get closer w/God & included him on every thing in my life…especially when I’m faced w/devilish temptations. I have to say, “THANK YOU GOD FOR STAYING BY MY SIDE”.
