get a tattoo sleeve

I want a full sleeve of different tattoos…I already have down my elbow: a dagger whit my son’s name, a charming narwhal, a fan… and i want to cover up a “forget me not” flower tattoo that i have in my wrist with a rose or something.

all i have so far is a peacock feather on the back of my right arm. i’m not sure if i just want a half sleeve or a full. either way im sure ill love it. everyone in my family looks down on my tattoos but i don’t even care, its my body!

I already have my kids names but need some kickass stars and flowers to fill up my arms

he passed when he was 18 my parents have made his memory dirt i’m to ressurect him and live with him forever in my heart and i’m jewish so yeah i want to celebrate that and incorporate it on my body so everyone can read my story and see exactly where i come from

Hubby got some more of his sleeve done on Saturday, so while we were there I showed our tattooist a picture of what mine will be loosely based on. He’s really excited about it.

So 2 or 3 more sessions on hubby and it will be my turn!

I have 2 designs I want but can’t decide which to get. I know I have 2 arms, but I only want one sleeve. One design is simple, arm covered in black vines and small coloured flowers. The other is quite complex… graveyard scene on the lower arm, with dead tree branches (with a few small coloured flowers on them) going up to the upper arm and a full moon surrounded by bats on the shoulder.

Don’t have long left to decide either, Hubby’s sleeve will be finished in 2 or 3 more sessions then it’s my turn.

The more I think about this…the less I want to do it. I think saying a whole sleeve is too much for me. I definitely would like to get more tattoos…I have one on my lower back, my left hip and my right ankle. I still would like to get one on my right shoulder, my neck and perhaps the inside of one of my forearms. I’m sure I’ll keep coming up with things, but I think I need to tone down my goal. I love sleeves, but I just don’t think its for me.

I think sleeves are some of the most personal tattoos out there. My feeling is that is how any tattoo should be, and I’m starting to work on a design to hopefully get mine started. Of course I’m only 20 and I’m scared my mom will physically kick my ass or kill me if she sees me starting to do this. I hate that. Well…I designed the top piece for my shoulder, or at least started to, so here we go!!!:)
