Sell my Fender Rhodes to a deserving person

I sold the Fender Rhodes piano to Steve Scalfati, who turns out to be a good friend and an amazing multi-instrumentalist. Steve is a keyboardist in SynthClub which is a band I also play in with Reggie and Sean. Steve also runs IQ Beats.

So, in the end I had inquiries from a couple folks in the Netherlands and Germany, a few people in the Northwest … but end up selling to a guy about 10 blocks from me.

Here are some photos on flickr of the 1977 Fender Rhodes Suitcase with rare 300 watt speaker cabinet (loud!). Excellent working condition. Recently serviced by David Ell of Kennewick, WA—one of the top Rhodes technicians in the world today. Some small tolex wear in places. New black grill cloth. 5-pin connector from piano to amp. One of the slider caps is missing (no effect on functionality) and the cover top is included.

I currently own 4 Fender Rhodes electric pianos. One eighty-eight model with a speakercab, 2 Mark 1 stage models that I use for gigging and one really nice Mark II suitcase (with rare and LOUD 300W amp speakercab). The Mark II is in excellent mechanical condition and has a few of the expected bumps and wear spots in the tolex. It was recently serviced by David Ell of Kennewick, WA. Dave is one of the top Rhodes technicians in the world today—perhaps the most talented.

I’d like this to go to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it—the buyer may even consider having Dave Ell refinish the tolex to make it a near-mint instrument in supreme working order. I could deliver it to him for after-purchase work as part of the deal. Let me know if you may be interested.
