Stop being so nice

i’m too nice for my own good..
and i can’t say no to people.. and then when i realize they’re using me i try to make excuses to get out of the situation which makes it even worse.
i have to set clear boundaries for myself – NOW.

i get used, just plain simple used… its not even funny and there just this much a person can take… i want to be a bitch, i mean, hard, can say no, and its a very nce person…
wow… theres this girl who remembers me only wen she needs stuff, money, she even steals my frends,...its ridiculus…m tired!!

I am too nice to people. I will bend backwards for you if you are my friend, but I find that I am too nice and sometimes get used. I have to learn how to say “no” to people and have a backbone. I do nice things for people, and they are not appreciated. I need to learn how to “grow a pair” and stick up for myself.

LOL I look down at my “things i’ve done” list and it says “be nicer” which i guess i accomplished earlier…funny stuff

Ohhhhh, sweeeeeeeeeet victory. Feels awesome to finally get my opinions out and not really care what anyone says. I used to be this way and then I’m not sure what happened. I got too nice and too polite cause I thought that’s how I should be. I’m not suggesting to be out right rude but when someone plainly insults you or makes you feel a certain way that you don’t like, say something! You have that RIGHT as a human being!

People tend to take advantage of my niceness. I can’t imagine how on earth I could stop this, but I need to because I can’t afford it and it brings me down.

I don’t want to stop being nice. Not completely. But I don’t know when to draw the line or how to cut off the friends to whom I’ve been too nice until this point. Though I know that if they don’t want me if I don’t give them things or if I say no once in a while they’re not worth it, it’s more complicated than that.

Any advice would be great.

Usually I can’t say no. . but last night a guy wanted to hang out with me, and usually i say alright and just see what happens but
i knew last night all he wanted was to try to get in my pants and usually i would hang out then just shut them down but last night i was like No. I was firm and told him no. i avoided putting myself in a bad situation and i stopped being so damn nice. :)

Its so frustrating. I am one of the friendliest people ever.
I beileve in the concept of treating others the way I expect to be treated but its just coming back to bite me in the ass. So many friends, family and just everyday people in my life are taking advantage of me. I’m just so nice to everyone, they’re taking advantage of it. They dont appreciate it and I’m so sick of it. How can I be alittle more firm with people so they won’t be tempted to take advantage of me? People are so selfish, its disgusting. I do so much for my friends and family and some just don’t care or appreciate it. Grr.

Today I hope to confront my boss about her over scheduling me. I had to drop a class and I’m miserable and she will not put two and two together if I don’t do it for her. So I’m going to attempt to grow a pair and tell her if she schedules me more than 3 shifts, I will not be there. She also cannot hold me hostage when my shift is over. She bullys the other employees, so at least I’m not being singled out. But I’m tired of being stepped on.
