for me, my clothes represent my music and who i am. so when i get strange looks and comments, it makes me proud to be unique and myself. :)

i always wanted to try to fit in
but trying to fit in and being cool is so over rated and i would rather be myself then some1 else!
Annette1121 is scared because her ex just got out!!
I feel much better now that I could care less about what people think about my clothes, my hair, and all the other aspects of my life. I feel like I am my own person instead of one of these clones that high schools make these days. I got so tired of trying to fit in. Be your self and be happier. True to you!
honestly people, i don’t get nor care about all this fashion trend garbage! when i buy clothes i look at the four ‘k’s (phonetically): comfort, quality, cost and colour. as long as i’m comfortable in it, i think i look ok in it, it will last long enough and it costs reasonable, i don’t care about the rest.
You can wear absolutley anything, as long as you’ve got the confidence to pull it off. Yeah you sometimes do get strange looks, but why would you want to dress like everyone else and fade in to the background?
I used to do this all the time in high school and it was so much fun and made me feel so good about myself. It was pretty hit or miss, but even when I kinda looked like a nut, people would just shrug it off, and if I looked good, the compliments would be more meaningful cause I would know I didn’t really look like anyone else at school. Then I came to college and got scared, so I don’t do this any more, but I think if I started again I would be a lot happier.
I always wanted to stand out and when I hit 13 in 2004 I decided to start wearing my own style and customising etc. I sometimes get stopped in town and asked where I got stuff from, I look unique and I love that. Of course I got bitchy comments about some of the stuff I wear but I honestly don’t care, at least I don’t look like a clone.
Trousers: straight (not tight), wide or bootleg. Fitted top: always round neck. Boots: a bit of a heel, but never too high. That’s the ‘uniform’ I live in. Fine for work, but what about the rest of the time?
It’s safe. Noone’s going to look at you and laugh. Noone’s going to look at you at all.
But you look at other people, wearing relly cool stuff. And you don’t laugh. You think ‘I wish I could do that’.
So: I will start wearing more interesting clothes. And if I get laughed at at least I’m not boring. And they’re just jealous :-)
well i usually buy the in brands and i usually get comments such as omg those look awsome on you or you should come over tonight even if they didnt like me the day before. i mean i like the in brand name clothes but i also like the other brand name clothes! School is starting in a few days and i have a new pair of shoes not dc, not vans, not converse, not any of the brands that anyone is buying! I bought baby phat…. i showed my friends and they treated me the way they would treat me any day! But then i showed people who i thought were my friends and they were like uhhh and really then i found out who my real friends are! They are the friends that dont care what i wear and dont care how i do my hair… they care about me they are there fopr me when it counts! So i am going to wear what i want, look the way i want and be who i want to be….......me! Also if you like to play socccer join my blogg find people who like playing soccer
