Meet Mike Dirnt!

I want to meet the guys in Green Day sooooooooooo badly.
My aunty knows a chick who used to date tre so if she comes down with them i can meet them.
Mike inspired me to start bass and i love him so much.
I have a GD shrine in my bedroom. all their CDs, 1 DVD, a shirt, 2 books, 2 photos of mike, 1 of billie, loads of photos of them on my ipod, drawings as well.

i have green day autographs and stuff but i would love to meet them some day. they rock and they r cool.
i am 13 so have all my life to meet them.
i have written to them and they mite b cumming over to jersey channel islands to c me to orginise a gig at jersey live a festival thats on every yr.

There only a few bass player’s that can pull of what Mike douse. if you listen to alot of the basslines that he douse there are so many things that people don’t hear. like in Basket case there are so many hammer ons and pull ofs and to play a song like Longview is amazing because he can switch in such a way that no one else could. I have been playing bass for 3 years and i still can’t play like him. Anouther amazing thing about mike is that if any of you have seen bullet in a bible the walking bassline that he douse which is soo sick! i don’t know any punk rock bassmen that can go from heavy punk rock to melodic funky jazz lines! If anyone has the tab for that i would love to have it!

Mike Dirnt is also my inspiration for playing bass, he pwns so badly, i can now play a vast majority of their songs on bass…. it would be so cool to be Mike… But i would settle for just meeting him once, and telling him how awesome he is!!!! Billie-Joe has become sort of overrated, he is still cool, but people dote upon him too much, Mike pwns, that is the end of it!!

im 14 now and mike dirnt was the first person i liked and still is since i first layed eyes on greenday wen i was 3 years old.
they are my heroes and mike dirnt got me playing bass.
it started wen i first won a prize to talk to greenday backstage at a concert. i talked to mike. i couldnt take my eyes off of him. how could i he had hot a muscles!!!
anyway i told him i wanted to play bass but i knew i could never be good. so he told me i could do anything i could put my mind to. i hung on to every word. he said he thaught i could do it so much that he even gave me one of his basses and wrote on it. it said to my little and greatest fan Marni. this should give you insperation. lov mike dirntxoxo
i hav my percision bass in my room. mike dirnt is the best and he will always be in my heart as my greatest hero!!

mike dirnt truly was the reason i wanted to play bass.if we had more bass players like him the world would be a fucking better place.i couldnt care if he was ass ugly (which he sure as hell aint) i would still want to meet him to tell him how i feel about his bass playing.

wowness-mike dirnt has to be the hottest bass-player in the history of punk-rock and the most talented!it would be sooooo cooooool 2 meet him…...i love the word “DIRNTY” JUST LOVE IT

He is definately the hottest member of Green Day. The only problem is that if I meet him, I won’t be able to talk and I might faint. :)
