Graduate from West Valley College with at least a 3.0 GPA

Wowza! I’m so close. This fall I earned at 3.75 GPA for just this semester and I’m really happy about it.

I could have gotten a 4.0 but I was just too exhausted and couldn’t do the extra credit. I did the leg work for the extra credit but physically could not bring myself to get typing. I would get in front of the screen to start typing and literally found myself waking up with drool on on my face, wondering how or when I even passed out.

Anyway. I’m pretty happy with my GPA overall. Three A’s and one B isn’t bad; it’s not bad at all.

Next semester might be a little different. I’m hoping to get a 4.0 of course, but we’ll see what happens.

Ignoring the the messed up GPA from the year 2000 and before, and only taking into account my grades since I came back to school in 2007, my cumulative GPA is a 3.83.

Just a few more A’s and I’ll have my goal completed; I could cross this one off. When I transfer I’m going to hit the ground running at the university; I’m so ready for it.

I’m doing well in my classes this semester, Fall 2008. I aced my first quiz in art history and my professor has complemented me on doing so and being ahead of the game.

I’m going to class every day and am doing extra credit for my speech class.

I have to relearn Trig. I haven’t taken it in nine years. I still remember the basics but have to look up my nemonic devices and practice them for my physics class. I bombed on my first quiz. I have my first real test coming up and I have to be prepared for it. I totally understand everything that is going on except I have to keep practicing my calculations so that I may be more efficient with my time while testing. The reason why I bombed on the quiz was because I didn’t get it done on time. aside from doing the assigned homework, I’m going to work on all of the odd questions for each chapter to make sure I got it right this time though.

My PE class should be a snap I just have to make sure I’m doing the exercises and I’m good.

My Library research class should be okay too. I just have to turn in blogs, take quizes on the material for that week and turn in one major assignment.

I just gotta keep plugging away at it.
