How to get more people I know to use skype

"in a nutshell, having access to seemingly "free" global phone calls is a mixed bag. It requires you to transcend your relationship to money. there is no free lunch!"
How I did it: it's not hard to convince people to participate in free calling! If you are dating, move an "online chat" to Skype ASAP - make it "real" as fast as you can!
Lessons & tips:
- transcend relationship to money. talk to people who are equally as wiliing to call you back even if it costs $2/min because Skype doesn't work.
- rebuild your network as needed.
- use other "multi-dimensional" means of interactions (ie. facebook)
- use video when the going gets rough (collary is not to use video immediately as there is something to be said for voice only - this is probably debatable!)
