Though I’ve always loved the art of handwritten letters, I have recently been inspired by The Campaign for Love and Forgiveness, which is an inclusive, nonpartisan initiative that invites everyone to think about and connect on the topics of love and forgiveness with the goal of effecting meaningful change in individuals and communities.
I’ve decided to send “Mail on Monday”-choosing from a list of friends and relatives that will recieve a meaningful handwritten letter from me in their mailbox. How nice to pull that out rather than junk mail or bills!

This is definitely an on-going thing, but I think I am getting better at it. Everyone LOVES getting something in the mail, especially when it is not a bill, or junk! I bought some cool paper and kept my stamps, address book and stationery in one place so I can write a letter and mail it off ASAP. I think that in this day and age of email and instant communication, a handwritten letter from a friend or loved one is truly appreciated. I would suggest doing this, I know that when I get a response by letter, I am really excited! :-)
