I had a look on livejournal yesterday and thought ‘that looks like fun’ so I registered. I don’t think I need to sign up for any more sites as I struggle with the ones I’ve got, but on the otherhand it could be a place to gather all the note together …?
What I’m not sure of is, where does this leave my diary writing? I’ve always been a writer by hand (see all my diaries) and want to continue with this, hence the new journal, but does this electronic writing mean my paper writing has no purpose.
I’m going to have to think about this, but in the mean time I will continue playing with livejournal and see what I think. I might decide its not for me in a few days time. If you fancy have a nose have a look at http://akg-darktea.livejournal.com/

I struggle to find interesting notebooks with blank pages in the UK so when I find one I tend to buy it. While looking for a card at the weekend I saw this, a thick blank notebook, for £3.99 – bargain. They had several choices of covers and although I was tempted to get all of them I bought the Tiffany one who I studied a bit during my GCSE art design textiles course.
I haven’t actually written in my diary for a few weeks because I’ve been reading in bed instead. Hopefully a new notebook will get me going, because the sooner I fill the other ones I sooner I can start this one.

so I’m actually starting to find time for it. I started with just writing a paragraph about the day, but the last two days I’ve started doing exercises again. I’ve done an entry on a daily theme on 8th January it was family and 9th it was exercise. Last night I also wrote a list of things I was resisting.

I’ve kept a diary on and off since 1989; I’ve got almost a shelf full. This year has been a poor year, perhaps because its been so busy and I’d like to get back into the habit. It is part of my evening routine.

Does 43 Things count? I really have become addicted, and I’m writing so candidly… It’s quite ironic, I’m the most private person. hmmm…. I think it does count–and I think it is wonderful that 43 Things has given me the space I needed to be myself without apologizing for who I am. Thank you 43 Things!
