    bah. take two coming up 2 months ago

    so I had joined on May 15 (baby came early) and was doing really well on WW…then, I moved in with my parents for the summer because my hubby is away in Iraq and it all went downhill. It just got too hard to measure and track points when I wasn’t cooking for myself and I was out visiting my in-laws and friends a few times a week. So I finally just gave up and decided I’d start again when I go home. So my new start date is Sept 11 – I’ll be back home and able to focus on myself again. I was even working out every day and feeling so good – ugh, I’m mad that I let it go!!!



    but I can't until after the baby is born! 7 months ago

    So I’ve set a date – May 29 I will be six weeks post partum and will be rejoining Weight Watchers (having a scheduled c-section so I know when the baby will be here!). I want to lose the baby weight plus a whole lot more and look my best by the time DH returns from Iraq in the fall.

    I lost about 30 lbs on WW before so I know it works for me, but I’m also getting a Wii Fit and will be going back to my Walk Away the Pounds dvds to help things along.

    I joined at work. Then my contract at work ended and I started going to meetings at a Weight Watchers location. So far so good. 12.6 pounds gone.

    16 weeks ago I joined Weight Watchers. I have lost 12.6 pounds and I feel great.



    Keep going but never going back 3 years ago

    I’ll go to one meeting and think they’re all freaks, then not go back. Just haven’t found that group that really does it for me, and I’m not going to use that as a crutch any more. I can figure out flippin points on my own!



    Today! 4 years ago

    I went today and did this.. and I feel so amazing. Today was pay-day and I called in sick (I have strep throat) and went to a meeting.. There was no registration fee ($30 in savings! What a deal!), so I decided to prepay for four weeks.. So not having money will NOT become an excuse for me not going to meetings or sticking to the plan.

    I’m going to do Flex for now, but then start doing Core when I feel off-track or need to regain focus.

    I’m so HAPPY!



    Subgoal to Lose 100 lbs 4 years ago

    The only way I’m going to lose 100lbs is if I actually get on a plan and stick to it. I can’t eat Jenny Craig’s creepy food. I don’t like Atkins, and Slimfast grosses me out. I like BIG food. And I have to give myself strict parameters about the type of BIG food I should eat. BIG amounts of salad with salsa, etc.

    Also, for people who like playing with 43 Things, WW’s whole journalling and points plan is probably a lot of fun.

    So…I’m going to find a meeting, find a date, and stick to it!
