This is a new bad habit for me! 1 month ago

I need to get back to basics. No more munching after 6:30 PM.
Thanks for the reminder.

I’ve been doing well lately until tonight. We can do this together! we need to gain some will power!

Failure 5 months ago

I have been an utter failure at this goal. Lasted a few days but then, back to the old habits, and the sad thing is, I’ve felt little remorse—-certainly not enough to stop.

Is there a meeting group for this problem. Geez. You’d think a gal would have a little self-control. I think I’m stressed over the house deal. Self-comforting going on. Thankfully, there is running and tennis to counteract.

GOT TO GET A GRIP

Going on Day 4. . . 7 months ago

Really, the 6 pm deadline has worked great for me. I take a big glass of tea/water around with me for a while. WARNING: Don’t drink the tea too late! I had insomnia the first night, fought hunger and insomnia for hours, and when I finally went to sleep, had a dream that someone brought me a Subway sandwich. Needless to say, I was glad to see him, even though it was only a dream!

This may make eating out impossible. Just staying close to home till I have this under control.

I’m also abstaining from alcohol, because I think it makes me have less self-control about eating.

Okay, it’s my first night, and I thought I had it licked! But I’m up now at 9:18 pm, fighting the urge to go to the fridge. At 6 pm, I closed the kitchen, and haven’t had a bite since, but this old habit is going to be hard to break.

It has helped thinking what one “43 Thinger” said, that eating at night derails your diet by 3 or 4 days. . . . . I’d like to get back on track. I was doing so well last month, although I lost weight due to extenuating family and health circumstances.

I’ll make it through this first night, though!

This goal may never actually happen!! 8 months ago

This is my WORST habit. Probably worse than being a nightowl to begin with. Fun thing is I never used to snack when I was younger although I did smoke like a demon in those days. Last night I had a yogourt and some triscuits and a sleepytime tea at like 2:00am. I thought the yogourt was a good choice. Will try to limit snacking to just yogourt.

I have so much trouble eating at night! I think my biggest issue is that I get bored at night, so I snack, and snack, and snack. Of course, the only things my roommate and I have sitting around are chips and wheat thins, so it’s not healthy snacking either. :P I’m on swim team, and I’m not overweight (I’m actually on the lower half of my weight), but it’s so unhealthy! I need to learn how to control my bored eating, especially at night right before I go to bed.

Nighty one. 8 months ago

I’m a night person.
i don’t usually eat during the day, like, I’ll eat a small lunch and supper, but after that, I’m done for the day, UNTIL i get bored in the night and start eating!! i don’t weigh much, but its annoying to just get up and feel bored then you eat, that’s how you GET FAT ):

I too am a nightie, that is eating jelly lollies to get me through the assessments. Must stop, must stop, must stop. Three assessments to go and then it will stop? It will be better that’s for sure.
