I have been on a journey for the past year or so, to really work on getting my back pain cured. These are the alternative treatments I have pursued (or am pursuing): energy wellness therapy, acupuncture, meditation, and tai chi classes. These are the allopathic treatments I have pursued: Physiatrist who x-rayed me and made a diagnosis of spondylolysthesis, gave me neurontin (did nothing), went to another physiatrist who gave me 3 shots of cortisone in the back (did nothing), physical therapy was ordered and completed 3 separate times over 3 years.
I still have the pain, radiates to my butt (piriformis??) and I continue to do the energy work, tai chi, and take 2 Alleve per day. That is my story….I still have the pain.
Ask for advice: Get help from people who've accomplished this goal
