What if MY deity doesn’t like YOUR marriage?

1) I’m not going to spend ANY money at Cinemark, or any other theaters owned by that company. Their CEO paid almost 10 grand to the yes on 8 campaign. I really hope everyone looks into major businesses that support gay rights, and support them, as well as boycotts those that are against them.

2) I WILL protest DOMA (Defense of marriage act) this January 10th. I’m also spreading the word through various internet sights.

i protested. i marched from sunset junction to hollywood and highland.

We lost.

I’m reading about what defeated us. Apparently there are two reasons:
(1) 70% of African-Americans voted for Prop 8 even though they voted for Obama;
(2) Catholics changed their minds in the last week. 40% were for Prop 8 a week ago, according to polls; 64% of Catholics voted for the measure when they got in the booth.

The battle continues on other fronts.
