My mother has been nagging me about where I am going to college since the eighth grade. Until this year, at my first meeting with the college counselor, I never worried about where I would go. I always assumed I would figure it out eventually.
Now I ask myself: will i stay in state? will i stay in the country? do i want to go to a challenging school and only do alright? or should i go to a modest school and excel? do i want to go to school in a big city or a place i’ve never heard of?
Thus, i ponder, i research, i procrastinate. Paul Simon pretty much summed me up when he sang “I’m on my way, I don’t know where i’m goin. I’m on my way, I’m taking my time, but I don’t know where.” 5 years ago
