How to pluck my eyebrows by GillyFinn

"Stung at first but totally worth it!"

How I did it: I took the advice of  anna5579  and used Orajel to numb them a little.  It felt weird but it made the plucking bearable.I also used a bright green eyeliner pencil and highlighted just the part of my eyebrows I wanted to keep so I wouldn't overpluck.
It took me another day because it hurt to much the first day and the tweezers I had really sucked.   I had to make a trip to Walgreens for real tweezers and the Orajel.  Next time I'll just try to ice my brows first.  I was soo paranoid that I would get the gel in my eyes.

Lessons & tips: Make a plan.  Outline the shape of the eyebrows you want with an eyeliner pencil.
Most of all, buy good tweezers!  The blunt ones I had kept pinching the skin and missing the hairs!

    So I did my right eyebrow first, following the natural curve at the top of my eyebrow. Then I did the left. Good bye old man tuffs. Now its just a matter of maintenance.

    I did this on Friday night partly out of boredom. I don’t think i’ve ever plucked them fully, from start to finish before. Once a friend did, but after that I let em grow.

    I was in tears after a few minutes, the pain was excruciating. This was a ‘Not Worth It’ with a double thumbs down. Next time i’ll get them threaded instead.

    FINALLY plucked them.
    i mean, i’ve always plucked them, but i’ve never actually shaped them or thinned them.
    i finally did and i can finally say i am content with my eyebrows.
    WOW. what a relief!

    Am so lazy. Keep forgetting to pluck my eybrows until the day I cant recognize myself in the mirror. Need to remember to do this at least once a week!!!

    eyebrows 21 months ago

    I had the whole unibrow going on, ok not really but big bushy brows anyway. I finally plucked them 2 weeks ago. It wasnt as bad as I thought. I was told if you put oragel on your brows it numbs them so the pain isnt as bad and it does work. Also if you kind of stretch your skin that helps too. Im sure everyone was tired of looking at my brows even I was,lol

    actually at the parlour when i was looking at the right kind of design for my eyebrow.. the girl over there suggested that I go in for a thin eyebrow.. coz my face is a lil longish and thin too… and am i happy with the outcome…. it looks beautiful…
