How to complete 1 year of ShutterCal
It made me
nostalgic
 "best way to remember a year of life and living"
How I did it: i just kept taking pics. no matter how boring, busy or discouraged i got, i just kept going. i knew this would be worth it in the end and i am so glad i kept with it. Lessons & tips: get a friend to do this with you, the encouragement helps a lot. also, dont take yourself so seriously and freak out about poor quality or strange poses. its all in good fun and in the grand scheme of a year +, i doubt one grainy picture or goofy expression will hurt Resources: shuttercal.com is a great way to organize photos in their proper order and receive encouragement from other people involved in their own photo project.

I now have a second account on shuttercal I am enjoying it that much! I have one as newsurfiegirl and my new one is newsurfiegirlsbackyard (it’s to help with my goal of appreciating the nature in my own backyard!)

I finally discovered the problem, I wasn’t getting emails from shuttercal to reset my password because someone had put them on my blocked list :0( once I fixed it up and tried to reset it, it finally worked so now I have been able to update my calendar.

for the past few days I have tried to login but can’t and I can’t even get a password reset email to come through. Is anyone else having this trouble?
I like the simplicity of ShutterCal. No RSS, but I finally found one of those image links. 
Even though there’s usually no time to shoot anything interesting, I always have my camera phone on me. I keep myself going by making myself look for something for a week (like people wearing headphones) and to take a pic every time I see that thing. Doesn’t have to be nice or well composed (not like my poor little camera phone is even capable of a nice photo), just as long as I get it done.
Oh, and if I ever “go on a road trip with no predetermined destination,” I’ll make sure I take lots of pictures!

Wow it does and they make it really easy even for someone who isn’t very good with computers! I love it! I am so glad I found this goal here!
