How to start my portfolio
How I did it: I had been procrastinating for ages, I thought about why I wanted to make it, what kind of things could be achieved with a (graphic & web design) portfolio.
Lessons & tips: Believe in yourself and your work. Get tips from design & arts blogs, look at artists and designers you admire- visit their websites and look at the way they present their work.

I have 1 year(basically) to create a portfolio that is up to par with my expectations before early admissions.
I have 12 pieces to create and refine, although ideally I’d like to make more so I could pick and choose. I also want to start a formal sketchbook, because some universities ask for those, and my current one is full of random shit.
I’ve got a long enough, eh?
I don’t think a huge binder with pages falling out counts much as a portfolio. I need those pretty plastic pages and what not. But who has time?!
Spent HOURS on this over the past couple of days. Getting everything set up. Hoping to send it off for print tmw!
I’ve already collected most of my work, i just have to ring the printers to get some specifications from them… then i can begin putting it all together for print.
