And that’s probably how I’ll do it, too;)

So, I’m 36 going on 37 and I’ve only been playing a little over 3 years. Let’s face it, I’m a one trick pony. I can’t really play any song all the way through but I can tear up the first 16 bars to a bunch of stuff! My blues is getting better (as long as it’s in A or E) and my Rock is starting to Roll.

I really wanna get better. I’d love to be the kind of guy who’s comfortable playing in any style. I’ll keep practicing.

so I totally bought a book with a CD and everything. It’s called worship I or something… whatever it is I like worked through basically almost all of it; I’m gonna be amazing…lol

I’m taking classical guitar lessons right now & I’ve been practicing an hour a day. The acoustic I have sucks (it’s a Jasmine Takamine) and the action is very painful, but my fingers have developed calluses to deal with it! I want to eventually solo on guitar with my boyfriend’s band. My guitar heroes as of now are Leslie West of Mountain, Jimi Hendrix (of course!), and Kim Thayil of Soundgarden. Good luck to everybody else who’s trying to get better too!

Travis picking is my favorite and one that I’ve been trying to learn.
