well i graduate in 2 more months and then ill be a teacher!! I’m so excited to start a career in an area that i know i will be bettering a child’s life in some way or another.
How to make a difference in a child's life
It made me

"I just listened when no one else was willing."
How I did it: I did this within my fist week of teaching. I had my 6th grade students write a paragraph about how they helped someone they loved and what friendship means to them. I developed a relationship with one boy who was reluctant to open up about his personal life, but he soon began to trust me. He was a little strange, and he didn't have any friends in the class. Every day, he'd come to me before taking his seat so he could tell me something that was important to him. During open house, he took his parents to meet me and introduced me as the nicest teacher who lets him talk to me all he wants to. He wrote me a very sweet farewell letter when I left to go to my other assignment. I'll never forget that boy.
